    Description

    1965 Van De Stadt Excalibur 36 

    Designed as a long distance cruiser by E G Van De Stadt in 1963, the excalibur also enjoyed a successful racing career, winning the RORC Class 2 Championships in 1963, 1964 and 1965. Excaliburs are noted for being light and positive on the helm, even in rough conditions. This example was completed by Southern Ocean Supplies in Bournemouth. In all, just 52 boats were built.

    Excalibur 36

    Moulded by the Tyler Boat Co, the GRP design proved to be very strong. hull decking and superstructure are of GRP with encapsulated lead ballast keel. The whole hull is moulded as one piece without keelbolts. The hull was repainted in spring 2016
